We’re all settling into our respective locations for the foreseeable future. But when you’re a member of the royal family, it’s not as simple as just returning to your home base — after all, you have many of those. As travel plans for the royal family have been made clear, we’re keeping track of where every member of the royal family is quarantined going forward — who’s together, who’s apart, and what they’ve said about the situation.
So, here’s where the royal family will be spending these socially distanced weeks. And yes, we’re including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because, despite their efforts to exit the royal family, they’re still family.
Queen Elizabeth II & Prince Philip

On April 5, the Queen gave a rare public address recorded from Windsor Castle, where she and husband Prince Philip are quarantined. The speech called for unity and strength as we face this together praised the healthcare workers on the front lines, and said the speech reminded her of her first public address during WWII.
“I am speaking to you at what I know is an increasingly challenging time. A disruption that has brought grief to some, financial difficulties to many, and enormous changes to the daily lives of us all,” the Queen said. “Together we are tackling this disease, and I want to reassure you that if we remain united and resolute, then we will overcome it. I hope in the years to come everyone will be able to take pride in how they responded to this challenge.”
“This time we join with all nations across the globe in a common endeavor, using the great advances of science and our instinctive compassion to heal,” she added. “We will succeed — and that success will belong to every one of us.”
Prince Harry & Meghan Markle
As of March 24, Meghan and Harry have relocated to Los Angeles, California with baby Archie. The ex-royals had been living in Vancouver since their royal exit, but a source told The Sun they left the country via private aircraft and flew to Los Angeles on Thursday.
“Harry and Meghan have left Canada now for good. The borders were closing and flights were stopping. They had to get out,” the source explained. “But this move was planned for some time. They realized Canada would not work out for various reasons and they want to be based in the Los Angeles area. They have a big support network there. It’s where their new team of Hollywood agents and PRs and business managers are based. Meghan has lots of friends there and, of course, her mum Doria.”

If they are in Los Angeles, they’ll need to be obeying strict lockdown measures, as cases in California and across the US continue to spread. We hope the family’s staying safe the best they can.
Prince Charles & Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall
Early Wednesday morning it was confirmed Prince Charles, 71, has tested positive for coronavirus making him the first senior royal to contract the virus. Charles is now self-isolating at Queen Elizabeth’s Balmoral Estate in Scotland — a former royal physician told Vanity Fair that royal doctors will be monitoring the royals closely and following the government guidelines.

Charles and Camilla primarily reside at their London home Clarence House, a townhouse close to Buckingham Palace. The 71-year-old prince has not yet confirmed whether this is where he and Camilla will stay for the coming weeks.
Prince William & Kate Middleton
Prince William and Kate Middleton are currently believed to be at their Sandringham country estate Anmer Hall with their three young children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. George and Charlotte will be homeschooled as their school picks up a remote learning schedule, and the whole family appears to be riding out this period of quarantine from their country home.
Whenever and wherever adversity strikes, the people of the UK have a unique ability to pull together. The way that local communities support those affected shows the very best of our values and human nature. William released an Instagram video addressing the crisis directly: “Whenever and wherever adversity strikes, the people of the UK have a unique ability to pull together,” he said, urging viewers to get involved and donate to the National Emergencies Trust, an organization now raising money to help local charities affected by the pandemic.
