The best part of the holiday season is the excited feeling of suspense leading up to the big day. From decorations to special songs to our favorite meals, we start celebrating long before the actual day of Christmas arrives. Our new favorite way to build up the anticipation is also our old favorite, from childhood: advent calendars! There are tons of advent calendar options out there these days, from cheese advent calendars to Aldi’s 25 different advent calendars on offer in 2021, but maybe the most coveted is the Bonne Maman jam advent calendar. It sells out every year and seems impossible to get ahold of, so when we saw that Costco was already selling a version of the Bonne Maman jam advent calendar in stores, we had to spread the word.




We first learned of the advent calendar through TikTok account Costco_Empties.

Instagram user @costco_doesitagain also posted about this delightful advent calendar yesterday. They shared a picture of the calendar on Instagram, along with a special message on the back of the box.

“The secret of Bonne Maman is simple — our ingredients!” it read. “Perfect fruits, carefully prepared with traditional expertise and recipes, create the memorable taste of Boinne Maman.”


The fruit spreads, which are made without high fructose corn syrup, preservatives, or added color, are a foodies dream. Just look at the comment section, where people sung its praises. “Got mine! 🙌” said one person.


“If you mix those preserves with gin, you can make a really good cocktail just saying,” one person wrote.

Costco’s Bonne Maman 12 Days of Christmas advent calendar features 11 limited edition mini spreads and 1 honey, each of which comes in an adorable mini jar. In stores, it’s just $13.99. Last year, the Bonne Maman Advent Calendars were also for sale on Costco’s website, though they’re not listed there yet. As is often the case, they’re also usually cheaper in stores, so now’s the perfect time to get a Costco membership.
