Classic “K” names for girls
- Katie (means “pure”)
- Katherine (Hepburn, The Great, plenty of icons)
- Karolina (will she be an Angel like Kurkova?)
- Karen (okay, this name has seen better days)
- Kimberly (the first Kardashian on this list, but certainly not the last)
- Kelly/Kellie (Kapowski or Kapoor? TV icons across generations!)
- Kate (fit for a royal, of course)
- Kara (meaning “dear, beloved”)
- Kendra (means “prophetess” and don’t we need one?)
- Kathleen (Irish baby names are constant classics)
- Kathy (she’ll even have her own Simon & Garfunkel song)
- Kirstin (the Scandinavian meaning is either “Christian” or “stone church,” you pick)
Trendy “K” names for girls
- Kayla (from Hebrew, meaning “who is like God”)
- Kia (yes it’s a car but it’s still cute!)
- Kenzie (short for Mackenzie, or stands great on its own)
- Kova (Inuit name meaning “strong”)
- Kylie (the Kardashian monikers continue; they’re popular for a reason!)
- Kaia (means “the sea” and it doesn’t get more magnificent than that)
- Keira (Keira Knightley is #momgoals for sure)
- Kendall (this Kardashian-Jenner name means “from the bright valley”)
- Kristen/Kristin/Krysten (Bell/Cavallari/Rytter?!)
- Kristina (a little more edge here than classic Christina)
- Khloé (the ever-trendy penultimate…)
- Kourtney (…and final Kardashian name of the list!)
This Irish surname would be such a unique and beautiful choice. I can see it for either gender, but prefer it for a girl.

Classic “K” names for boys
- Kieran (Kieran Culkin is truly the underrated Culkin IMO)
- Karl (Marx? Malone? Lagerfeld?)

- Kenneth (a Celtic name that’s as “handsome” as your baby will be)
- Keith (Richards! Jarrett! Urban! Sweat! Get ready for a brilliant musician kid)
- Kurt (ugh, speaking of brilliant musician kids — Cobain’s first name means “courteous”)

- Khalil (means “companion,” and he’ll be a sweet one)
- Kamal (this can mean “perfection” which feels ambitious, or “completion” which is lovelier)

Kincaid is originally a Scottish place name. It can also be spelled Kincade or Kinkade, like the famous American painter (Thomas Kinkade). I prefer Kincaid for a boy, how about you?
